VULNER_UP is a food for special medical purposes in powder form suitable for the dietary management of patients with protein malnutrition, favouring the restoration of muscle mass and the reconstruction of damaged tissue (pressure sores, ulcers, burns, complex wounds, etc.).

Dosage is according to patient and is to be defined by the attending practitioner on the basis of the patient’s various requirements. In general, the recommended dose is one sachet (25 g) once or twice daily. Consume the product immediately, or within 24 hours if the preparation is kept in the fridge.

Oral use: pour the contents of one sachet (25 g) into a glass, add 250 ml of cold water and stir thoroughly until completely dissolved. It is recommended to prepare the product directly when needed. Use with a feeding tube: Carefully dissolve the contents of one sachet (25 g) in 250 ml of water at room temperature or according to the indications of the practitioner. Clean the feeding tube before and after administration with 40-50 ml of water. Do not add the product directly to the bag with other formulas for tube feeding.

The product must be used according to instructions and under medical supervision. The product is not suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition and must not be injected. Do not use for children under the age of 3. This product may constitute a health risk if consumed by people who do not suffer from the specific illness, condition or pathology for which the product is recommended.

Keep in a cool, dry place. Avoid exposure to direct heat sources and sunlight. The date of minimum durability refers to the product stored appropriately in an unopened package. Dispose of correctly.
