MALTODEX_UP contains maltodextrin obtained from cornflour and B-group water-soluble vitamins (thiamine, riboflavin and vitamin B6). In highly soluble powder form.

Maltodextrin, pyridoxine chloride (vitamin B6), thiamine chloride (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2).

MALTODEX_UP is a food for special medical purposes in powder form suitable for the dietary management of patients with energy malnutrition and conditions that require high energy support. The product is suitable for increasing the glucose levels of foods, drinks and mixes for tube feeding.

Dosage is according to patient and is to be defined by the attending practitioner on the basis of the patient’s various requirements. Dissolve the powder in water at a ratio of 1:8 or 1:10, using 10 g of powder in 80-100 ml water. The graduated measuring scoop included in the product pack has a capacity of 30 ml and contains approximately 15 g of powder (5 g of powder for every 10 ml in the cup). Consume the product immediately, or within 24 hours if the preparation is kept in the fridge.

MALTODEX_UP is highly soluble and can be added to hot or cold drinks and foods both sweet and savoury. Use with liquids: add the powder to the liquid and stir thoroughly until completely dissolved. Use with foods: before adding to food, particularly dense food, it may be more practical to dissolve the powder in a little water and then add it to the food, stirring thoroughly.

The product must be used according to instructions and under medical supervision. The product is not suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition and must not be injected.

Keep in a cool, dry place. Avoid exposure to direct heat sources and sunlight. The date of minimum durability refers to the product stored appropriately in an unopened package. Ensure the jar is properly closed after use. Consume within 8 weeks of opening. Dispose of correctly.
